
A recognized leader in the Internet of Things (IoT) market, Mr. DeSisto has nearly 30 years of C-level experience leading private equity and venture-backed companies. As CEO of Pwnie Express, Mr. DeSisto led the cybersecurity company’s sale to Outpost 24 in October 2019. Mr. DeSisto previously served as CEO at Axeda, a recognized pioneer in the IoT space and named one of the 10 Most Powerful IoT companies – along with Amazon, Cisco and Google – by Network World. In 2014, he led the software company’s sale to PTC for $170M. In his career, Mr. DeSisto has managed multiple successful exits, generating investor returns of over 190% and 7x while creating over $1.5 billion of value. Mr. DeSisto holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Brown University and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Matthew Williamson, Ph.D., brings nearly 20 years of experience in computer security and data science to his role of CTO at CPX Security. Matt recently served in a similar capacity at Internet of Things (IoT) security leader, Pwnie Express, where he was responsible for the company’s technical strategy. Previously, Matt was Chief Scientist at vArmour, where he developed the underlying technology for the datacenter security startup. Matt has also held senior data science roles at Rethink Robotics, where his ideas advanced the company’s efforts to develop low-cost robot arms, and Sana Security. Matt holds a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as 15 issued patents in robotics, computer security and machine learning and has been cited in Wired, The Economist, and the BBC.

Brian Radley brings more than 20 years of financial management experience to his role overseeing finance and operations at CPX Security. Brian has helped manage the full lifecycle of several rapidly growing technology companies from fundraising through acquisition including: CloudLock (acquired by Cisco), Axeda (acquired by PTC), and Network Intelligence (acquired by EMC). Brian holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Accountancy from Bentley University.

Robert Tanguay brings nearly a decade of experience driving and executing go-to-market strategies in the Internet of Things (IoT). At CPX Security, Robert is instrumental in executing go-to-market for CPX, the company’s landmark IoT security solution. Previously, Robert was a part of best in class teams and forward-looking organizations in IoT, including Wind River (an Intel company), Predixion (now Greenwave Systems), PTC ThingWorx, and Axeda (acquired by PTC). Robert is a graduate of Boston College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and English.
